Expedition Greenland – Deep into the West.

Over four long days being bathed in the now 24 hours of sun we now have, we travelled 380km as far into the west as we have been so far. Our travels took us through valleys, over fjords and up glaciers. More and more this great country astounds us with its sheer beauty and deep contrasts. Spring is well and truly here now and the temperatures are rising to a mild and balmy -10, which believe me is a big difference for us!

Gigantic icebergs that are trapped fast in the frozen sea ice will start to shift and move as the melt begins and this landscape that we have come to know will change completely. Our ability to travel along the fjords like huge highways decreases with each day and we are packing as much travel into these last few weeks as possible. But the adventure is far from over and we will continue to push into new territory right up until the end by any means possible to take you along for the ride so you too can experience this great Arctic wonderland.
