Jack Harlem – Brisbane Australia.
After several years in Japan, almost a decade worth of Hokkaido winters and the last few summers spent travelling the summer festival scene across Japan I decided it was time for a change. I’ve taken a break from the hot Asian summers and returned to Australia where I have been working out of a Brisbane based studio called Jack Harlem. The change in scenery has brought inspiration and freshness to my photography and with it has come new enthusiasm and opportunity.
Expanding my experience into Advertising and Commercial photography and working along side Brisbane based photographer Josh Kelly (owner of Jack Harlem) is about as far from the icy wilderness of Greenland as I could get. I’ve loved the change and have a renewed enthusiasm to take my photography on a new journey with me. The freedom and creativity I thought I’d miss from expedition and travel photography I’ve found in portraiture and advertising… I love it.
Here’s a behind the scenes video from a recent shoot we worked on for the Gold Coast Airport.
